You can start earning cashback by spending a minimum of 10,000 per month on your World Credit Card

Cashback is only applicable on retail transactions. Balance transfers, local cash advances, credit card cheques, finance charges, fees charged by the bank, transactions reversed by merchants and other transactions determined by the bank do not qualify for cashback.

Monthly cashback amount for the different spends categories are capped as follows: Supermarket - 300

• Travel- 400
• Standard retail spends - 100
• Retail spends via an E-Wallet - 150

If your cashback in these categories exceeds the cap of 1,000, excess spends will not earn additional cashback.

The World Credit Card is free for the first year and an annual fee of 950 +5% VAT applies from second year onwards. The annual fee applicable from the second year onwards can be waived off by spending a minimum amount of 100,000 in the previous year.

An E-Wallet is a digital service that allows you to make secure electronic transactions without the need for cash. Examples of e-wallets are: Apple Pay, SAMSUNG Pay, Google Pay, etc.

By using the RAKBANK World Credit Card at any store, you will automatically earn cashback. This will not be deducted from your bill at the store. Instead, it will be reflected in your monthly statement.

Yes. Unredeemed cashback expires in 15 months. Redeem it within that period or it will be forfeited. You can start earning cashback on retail transactions as soon as you activate your card and start using it.

You can use their cashback amount in any way you choose. If there is an outstanding balance on your card when you redeem your cashback, the amount will be applied to that balance, reducing the amount due to the bank. If you have no outstanding balance, the cashback will be reflected as a credit balance that you can use for future purchases. Please note: Only the primary cardholder can redeem the cashback, and it cannot be transferred or encashed.
